Harbor Arthritis Center was
started in April of 1999 by Dr. Charles J. Huebner. He
had practiced at the Burns Clinic for nine
years before opening his solo practice. Jane Denay, Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (CFNP) joined Harbor Arthritis Center in 2001, and Dr. Irene S. Kazmers, M.D. joined in 2004. The mission of providing compassionate and comprehensive rheumatologic care remains the focal point of the practice.
While offering treatment and care for many types of arthritis, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, polymyalgia rheumatica, ankylosing spondylitis and infectious arthritis, Dr. Huebner, Dr. Kazmers, and Jane Denay, C.F.N.P. also diagnose and treat other inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, such as systemic lupus, Sjogren's syndrome, scleroderma, systemic vasculitic disorders such as giant cell arteritis and Wegener’s granulomatosis, and other conditions that comprise the field of rheumatology.
Harbor Arthritis Center strives to remain at the forefront of arthritis treatment; participating in the testing of new and novel medicines. We have successfully enrolled patients in numerous clinical research studies over the last several years.
